We are thrilled to announce that RISE UP has officially joined the Movement to Work, a collaborative national initiative dedicated to tackling youth unemployment and providing meaningful work experience opportunities for young people.
At RISE UP, our mission has always been clear to empower and uplift young people from marginalised communities, helping them unlock their full potential through education, employability, and skills development. By joining Movement to Work, we are taking this mission to the next level, working alongside a powerful network of like-minded organisations that share our vision for change.
The Movement to Work is committed to creating high-quality work experience and training opportunities for young people, particularly those who are not in education, employment, or training (NEET). With nearly one million young people in the UK facing these challenges, the work we do together has never been more crucial. Through this partnership, we aim to further bridge the gap for those often overlooked by traditional career pathways and help them build sustainable futures.
Joining this movement means RISE UP will gain access to invaluable resources, networks, and support, enabling us to expand our impact and reach even more young people. Together, we will work with employers, educators, and community leaders to co-create opportunities that give young people the skills, experience, and confidence they need to thrive in the modern workforce.
For us, this is more than just a partnership—it’s an opportunity to challenge the status quo and champion young talent that too often goes unnoticed. As we move forward, we will work closely with Movement to Work and its network to ensure that our participants not only find work placements but gain the skills and insights that lead to lasting success.
Our Charity Director, Roman Dibden, shared his excitement about this partnership: "Joining Movement to Work is a monumental step for RISE UP. It aligns perfectly with our mission to transform lives and futures. As someone who has personally faced barriers in education and employment, I know how essential it is to create pathways for those who need it most. Together, we can make a real, lasting impact."
We are excited for the journey ahead and look forward to working with Movement to Work and our partners to create even more opportunities for young people to RISE UP and realise their full potential.
Stay tuned for updates on our progress and how you can get involved in this transformative movement. Together, we can change the narrative on youth employment and build a brighter, more inclusive future for all.
